+ First and foremost, there will be NO IC/OOC crossing. No harassing players OOC. No god-modding, plot bullying, or controlling someone else's character for the sake of your own whims. This will not be tolerated by the mods and therefore earn you a swift kick from the community.

+ Don't be a douche. We're all mature writers here and should be able to act as such. There is now a no bashing rule into effect! If you feel the need to bash someone character, other players, games, or the mods, and it's noticed, you will be removed. If you are so unhappy, this game is not meant for you.

+ We’d ask for no drama, but that’s like asking for world peace. Just work it amongst yourself first and if that doesn’t work, feel free to contact a mod. We are not your babysitters. But we are always willing to listen, help out, and even get bitchy if needed. However, in the end if we have to step in, which will be the last straw, what we say goes!

+ We have a character limit of 15. That means if you choose to have more than one character in your fandom, you are only allowed two major characters per that fandom.

+ Be active please! It's understandable that real life can be hectic, but activity is necessary to stay in the game. It's unfair to sit on your characters if you don't have time for them and unless a hiatus is requested, the mods will not tolerate it. We will be having activity checks every two weeks for the first two months to prevent role hogging, after the first two months we will have one activity check every weeks.

+ New Activity Requirements! As of November 2011, ALL characters are required to post at least one post in the net comm and participate in one thread in the main comm each month - as well as respond to any post made directly to your character.

+ A hiatus will generally be granted up to one month as the mods feel that is plenty of time to recover, if more time is needed feel free to send a PM. Each request will be decided on a case by case basis.

+ Mature content must be tagged correctly and locked to the community. This is a dark game, but we still expect you to be courteous to the community and give a warning ahead of any possibly triggering events.

+ As characters here are all from the realm of fiction, canon puncturing is allowed with that character's permission only. If permission is not granted, please respect the writer's wishes and do not simply drop the subject on them.

+ Please try to be true to the nature of your character. Dean Winchester is not suddenly going to switch sides and become Lucifer's right hand man. Gradually the characters may change over time, due to the circumstances but keep it as realistic as possible.

+ No non-canon incest allowed. Slash is okay as long as there is a basis for it in canon or it happens very gradually. ALL relationships should be built up over time. We like to see how things develop. As the rules state try to stay true to your character nature and make sure you play things out, even flirting takes a little work.

+ We will allow different version of the same character from all fandom, except limited to the Gotham. (If you want to play a double of the main Gotham cast, please request in in the drop box.) Just please try to keep some timeline distance between the ones in the game. We don't need two of the same person in the same time frame. However, we will allow the same character just in different times in their life.

+ Animated characters are allowed but they must be given a human PB.

+ When leaving the game, you character will have a gruesome death, nothing personal, helps keep the game going. Even though the character died, they are welcome to come back if someone else or you decide to come back.

+ Prior knowledge of Batman and Gotham City is not required to play here. This is a pan-fandom friendly game.

+ Giving your character an ability is optional, not required. If your character already has an ability, they will keep the one they have. There will be a post to keep track of abilities to ensure that we don't end up with too many of the same.
